We will bless the next generation with our best
If anyone is going to change the world, it will be the next generation. Therefore, we will give up our time, energy, resources, and wisdom to reach and disciple the next generation by committing to teaching Jesus on their level.
We look forward to serving your family every week and partner with you in the spiritual growth of your children! Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to learn about the Bible, experience Jesus, and grow into the person that God has created them to be. We want kids to know that they are loved and accepted while at the same time teaching them to know their identity in Christ. We do this by engaging kids in fun activities, worship and awesome games in order to reinforce our lessons.
How Check-In Works
You may check in your child at any available station. After being led through the check-in process by a team member, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
The Ride Home
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week!
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
We know how important safety is, especially when it comes to children. Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored.
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and so much more.
At this stage in our church, we believe the best thing for students is to be fully functioning participants in the church. We desire them to attend, serve, and lead out in our Sunday morning worship services. As our church moves forward, we will continually pray through how we can give our best to the students that call GCC their home.
